Obama Administration Flexing its Muscles

10/22/09 12:22 PM

With the Balloon Boy debaucle safely behind us, and criminal charges forthcoming, so the sheriff of the boy's Colorado hometown says, and the Senate feverishly working to combine Health Care legislation into one comprehensive bill that successfully encompasses all that health care reform advocates have envisioned throughout the past few months this week has been business as usual in the political realm with a few minor derivations from the norm.   For example, while Senators struggle to determine what should stay and what should go when it comes to health care legislation, the "Pay Czar" Kenneth R. Feinburg has been looking into the banks and large companies that recieved government bailout money also referred to as TARP funds.  Many of these companies have been...

The President This Week

If you've watched the news recently you are fully aware of the seemed boycott the White House is staging against Fox News Channel.  A few weeks ago, when President Obama made his Sunday morning news rounds he purposefully avoided Fox News and now the White House and Democrats alike are speaking out defending the choice to visit every news network except Fox News.  Democratic congressional members such as Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois are speaking out saying that people need to know that Fox News has become a voice for the Republican Party not a voice for the entire country as a whole.  Republicans however find the President's snub "childish" and "immature".  What do you think?        Today,...

In an article published by the Washington Post, the Nobel Committee stressed that the President's work for peace throughout the globe is what led them to give him...

This Week Oct. 1, 2009
