Reflecting on the first week of The Printz

The new site is up and functioning like rebellious teenager.  I have encountered many problems/errors with the site after launching the first edition, but this was expected.  I hope are readers will be patient as the site continues to grow and the maintenance becomes more fluid.  We are constantly trying to add more content on the new site.  Over the past couple of editions we have  been trying to add more visual support to our articles such as photo galleries, supporting documents and videos.  This is something that we continue doing more and more over the semester.  In the next couple of weeks I am planning on starting a couple of podcast series to be produced in The Printz’s office and broadcasted on our...

A test

    It’s a challenge.  I am new to the game of building pages on a site.  Sure I have known my way around a computer for years, a skill that has been obtained through much trial and error beginning with my first dismantling of my families’ first PC back in ’97.  The web is a new frontier and I more than excited to take it on.     I am writing this first entry as a test to College Publisher’s built-in blog feature that is included with the CP5 content-management system.  I hope to have members of the Printz team to make use of the blog feature in efforts to develop transparency with in the news room.      Stay tuned.  This is the first of many post....
