On Sept. 27, President George W. Bush rescued college federal aid by signing the College Cost Reduction and Access Act, the largest increase in federal aid in over 60 years. The College Cost Reduction and Access Act was passed through the Senate and House of Representatives with votes of 72-12 and 292-97 respectively.
