Southern Miss head coach Todd Monken addressed the media Saturday, Aug. 15, at the annual Football Media Day. Assistant coaches and players also shared stories and information with reporters while Golden Eagle fans attended the Golden Eagle Fanfare at the Lake Terrace Convention Center in Hattiesburg.

New USM uniforms were on display, and were donned by players, at the fanfare. The first game of the football season is set for Sept. 5 at M.M. Roberts Stadium against Mississippi State. The Student Printz’s Football Special Edition will be published Thursday, Sept. 3.
