Sports Briefs: September 6th, 2012

The Hattiesburg City Council announced on Tuesday that it will recognize Sept. 15 as Fill To The Top (FTTT) Day.

The goal of the campaign is to sell out M.M. Roberts Stadium during Southern Miss’s first home game of the season.

Southern Miss Athletic Director Jeff Hammond stressed to the council and attendees that athletes are future leaders and that he appreciated the city’s support of them.
