USM hosts benefit tripleheader

The Southern Miss athletic program hosted a tripleheader on Saturday involving William Carey’s men’s and women’s basketball teams facing the Faulkner Eagles. The Southern Miss men’s basketball team faced Western Kentucky.

“Pine Belt Recovery Day” at Reed Green Coliseum collected proceeds and donations to benefit William Carey University, which was directly in the path of the Jan. 21 tornado.
