Adele gives birth, welcomes son

British songstress Adele welcomed a son in London on Sunday. The 24-year-old, whose album “21” topped charts earlier this year, announced she was expecting a child with her partner Simon Konecki in June. The couple said they are “over the moon” about the birth of their first son in a statement released Monday. Despite reports from British media, Konecki and the singer are not married, as reported in August, but the couple are said to be currently planning a wedding.

X Factor signs for third season

Fox’s hit singing competition/reality show “The X Factor” was officially signed for a third season Monday. Show creator Simon Cowell told Rolling Stone magazine “I couldn’t be happier about The X Factor already being renewed for another season. I am so proud of the show and the team who have it this season.” The season two conclusion of the judges round will air tonight at 9:30 p.m.

Timberlake, Biel tie knot in Italian ceremony

Singer Justin Timberlake and actress Jessica Biel were married in a private ceremony in Italy last week, People magazine announced Friday. “It’s great to be married. The ceremony was beautiful, and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends,” the couple said in a statement. Timberlake and Biel have been dating since 2007. This is the first marriage for both.
