Student arrested for threatening Yik Yak post

Brandon Harden, 20, a business major at The University of Southern Mississippi was arrested for posting an anonymous threat to the Hattiesburg campus Monday morning.

Harden is being charged with posting a computer threat to cause injury, which is a felony offense.

The University Police Department (UPD) is continuing the investigation and still has no corroborating information or evidence regarding the social media threat.
