USM football send-off party to take place Thursday, Aug. 28


The Southern Miss Department of Athletics and Southern Miss Activities Council (SMAC) invites fans to meet in front of the Duff Athletic Center to send-off the Golden Eagle football team at 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28.

Fans will have the opportunity to greet the team as they finish their final home practice before the Mississippi State game in Starkville, Saturday, Aug. 30. Attendees can join in the Eagle Walk with the Pride of Mississippi, Southern Miss cheerleaders and Seymour as the team makes their way off the practice field.

Free pizza will be provided by SMAC and drinks will be available from Coca-Cola of Hattiesburg. Everyone is encouraged to attend. Kick-off for Saturday’s game is at 6:30 p.m. and will be televised on SEC network and Southern Miss IMG Sports Network.
