Herbert Slay was one of the many that attended the Veterans Day dinner and celebration Tuesday evening honoring the Veterans and their families. The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at USM partnered with Student Veterans of America, Southern Miss Chapter, for the event. The veterans and their families were honored with speeches of gratitude, remembrance and experience of their time in the military. -Brittny Roberts
